Pharmacological properties

Calcipotriol - a synthetic analogue of the active metabolite of vitamin D. Causes inhibition of proliferation of keratinocytes and accelerates their morphological differentiation. Betamethasone - glucocorticosteroid (GCS) for external use. It has a local anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, vasoconstrictive and immunosuppressive action, but the exact mechanisms of anti-inflammatory action of topical corticosteroids is not completely clear. Absorption and distribution

When applying Daivobet suction calcipotriol and betamethasone through the intact skin is less than 1%. application: 

- Adults: topical ointment applied in a thin layer to affected skin 1 time/day.
